“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Now before we get offended about being called evil, let’s acknowledge that we are not the best versions of ourselves at all times. That being said, what is the Bible saying here? Despite our circumstances, upbringing, experiences, we ARE capable of giving love. But there’s more…

If we are capable of giving love despite our less than perfected selves, how much more EQUIPPED must God be at giving love? That’s right. Despite our circumstances, experiences, losses and pain, God’s ability to love us has never diminished. Loves not gone. In fact, it never left us! And it is this undiminished love that enables us to continue to love even when people fail us. Let that sink in…

Love’s not gone. It’s here. It’s in you. Because God is in you too.
